Sweet Tweets --A Crafty Little Baby Shower

Being a new mommy and having a regular full time job, I really never have time to post on my blog these days. Hopefully over the summer things will be a little less hectic and that will change! In the meanwhile, I did want to post these photos of Baby Shower I hosted with a friend for our friends Erron and Jason. Enjoy! We had a great time!!

If you're interested in using the invitation or some of the printable decorations for a shower you're hosting, please visit my Etsy shop . I will be very happy to work with you to customize colors and text!

The dessert buffet that also doubled as a Sweet Treat Favor buffet.
A tree with wishes for the baby.
A handmade nest corsage for the mommy-to-be.

The shower was held at The Waterfront Hotel in Fells Point (Baltimore), Maryland. The food was fabulous. This is a sample menu and one of the table centerpieces. We made pedestals cut from a fallen tree and a piece of wood for the top that you can find at craft stores.

A table for gifts and a table for the Wish Tree.

Table centerpieces...a paper bird in a yarn "nest".

Save a cup cozy, SAVE THE WORLD!

Yes, folks, you TOO can save the world. Saving the world is no longer reserved for characters on that TV show HEROES (although they're pretty good at it). So I had a fun idea to do a little sewing (sort of) and a bit of ironing (fusible webbing), and viola! The embroidery on these are all my own design. So, these are WAY cooler than those cardboard ones you get standard with your cup. And you can just toss them in your purse to use again and again.

There are also some additional designs and colors (including a neutral "oatmeal" color and red--both not shown)
Also, new are cozies with ribbon embellishments! These make a great addition to a gift card from a coffee shop.
